You Are a Diva

I believe we all have a calling.

Something we’ve been put on this earth to do. It’s up to us to find it. And when we do it’s up to us to serve that calling. I believe my calling is to empower women, to show them that fire inside them they never knew was there, to build them a pedestal and help them climb it, to hold them there until they’re strong enough to stand up on their own

You see, I’ve been lucky. I grew up with a dad who was (and still is) fiercely supportive. Who taught me early that there was literally nothing in the whole wide world I couldn’t do. Call me crazy but I believed him. I still believe him.

Then there’s my husband. Who listens to my goals and dreams and holds my hand while I attempt to make the impossible happen. Who never needs to say “I told you so” the times that I fail but instead tells me “You’ll do better next time”, and never let me give up on my dreams.

So, I feel it’s my duty….no…. My privilege that I get to pass on that support to other women. The ones who didn’t have those strong figures in their lives, who never believed they could do amazing things, who are afraid to stand too tall and take up space and work towards their dreams.

Ladies, I say with the loudest voice possible, shouting from the highest rooftop -

I BELIEVE IN YOU

YOU ARE AMAZING

YOU CAN REACH YOUR GOALS

YOU ARE WORTHY OF EVERYTHING YOU’VE EVER DREAMED OF

NOTHING CAN HOLD YOU BACK
